About the Artists
CASSANDRA LEWIS -
Bare feet, bare soul. San Francisco based artist, Cassandra Lewis weaves a wild storyteller’s wit with radical vulnerability. Aptly described as cosmic Americana laced with psychedelic blues, a booming vocal range, and a shot of divine comedy... Performing primarily original music from her recent acoustic EP release “Welcome Home”, she is rolling out new material in preparation for her full length album to be recorded this fall. Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, and Grace Slick are some influences that shine through her booming voice. Paired with power and charm, this old soul artist is offering up a truly unique and raw experience...
MIMI GILBERT -
In the realm of indie, cinematic folk, Mimi Gilbert is harmony driven and with a love for deep rhythm. She creates layer upon layer of a raw, prevailing sound that simply burst with life, journey & experience. Now Based in Melbourne, Australia, Mimi looks forward to recording her 3rd album this year and doing a handful of shows along the west coast this June and July
PACIFIC TRIO -
Pacific Trio is a vocal trio from Portland, OR. Drawn to the intimacy and power of three part harmony, the three women of Pacific Trio (Molly, Eve and Chloe) bridge their differing musical backgrounds to create a sound that leans into the honesty and narrative inclinations of singer/songwriter music while also honing in on the rhythms and soulful resonance of jazz and rhythm&blues.
SHANNON HAYDEN -
Experimental cellist Shannon Hayden pairs her stringed instrument with a haunted vocal that's reminiscent of Neu Favourite Cross Record to dazzling effect. At once ambient and electronic-leaning and yet tangibly real-world, there's a lasting, heart-warming echo to "Vanished"." - DIY MAG
